Michael Mackenzie is a General Partner of Town Associates. Mr. Mackenzie has facilitated more than $400 million in commercial and residential real estate transactions. He has evaluated opportunities and new business ownership opportunities for investors; having spent many years specializing in the development of commercial properties and office buildings while generating a significant return to investors. He has a background in operations and corporate acquisitions, including real estate procurement for investor development. He currently handles investor relations and our marketing efforts in China.
Prior to entering the real estate industry, Mr. Mackenzie led a variety of businesses and corporate ventures primarily in the manufacturing sector, ranging from $20 million to multinational $100 million operations in the capacity of President, CEO or Chief Operating Officer. He has experience working throughout Europe and Asia, including the establishment in 2001 of a joint venture with the Chinese government. He was also a partner in a consulting firm specializing in crisis management and operational turnaround for troubled companies and was an instructor for the American Management Association, teaching other executives the best practices of corporate governance, operations improvement techniques and ways to maximize shareholder value.
Mr. Mackenzie holds a Master of Science Degree in Business Strategy from Columbia University. Mr. Mackenzie has served as a Court-appointed Special Advocate for abused children and was appointed in 2002 by the Nevada State Legislature to its Finance Oversight Committee for Prison Industries.
